Welcome to the Ravi Furnitures help centre. Below you'll find answers to the questions our customers ask most often — about ordering and payments, delivery and installation, returns and warranty, custom furniture, your account and your privacy — followed by our customer Terms and a Privacy summary.

If you can't find what you're looking for, our support team is happy to help. You'll find our contact details, and our named Grievance Officer, at the bottom of this page.

Your statutory rights come first. Nothing in this page — including any return condition, warranty exclusion, liability cap, governing-law clause or other term below — takes away or limits the rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or any other law that cannot be contracted out of. Wherever a term in this page conflicts with such a right, your statutory right prevails.


Orders & Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay for your order in several ways:

  • UPI — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM and other UPI apps
  • Debit & credit cards — major card networks (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay and others)
  • Net banking — all major Indian banks
  • Wallets — supported digital wallets
  • EMI / No-Cost EMI — on eligible debit and credit cards
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) — for orders up to ₹20,000 per order

All online payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.

Is COD (Cash on Delivery) available?

Yes. Cash on Delivery is available for orders up to ₹20,000 per order. For orders above this value, please use one of our online payment options. COD availability may depend on your delivery PIN code, which you can check at checkout.

Do you offer EMI or No-Cost EMI?

Yes. EMI and No-Cost EMI are available on eligible debit and credit cards. The available EMI plans, tenures and any applicable terms are shown at checkout once you select a qualifying card. Eligibility is determined by your card issuing bank. EMI is entirely optional and is never pre-selected — you choose it only if you want it.

Are your prices inclusive of GST?

Yes. All prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are GST-inclusive — the price you see already includes GST. The Maximum Retail Price (MRP) is shown alongside the selling price so you can see your savings clearly. As required by the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, the displayed MRP is the maximum retail price inclusive of all taxes — you are never charged above it.

What will I see before I pay — are there any hidden charges?

No hidden charges. Before you pay, your cart shows a full itemised price breakdown — the item price (GST-inclusive), the delivery charge, and any optional add-ons you have chosen — so you can see the total you will be charged. There is no drip-pricing: the amount confirmed at checkout is the amount you pay.

What if a product is shown at the wrong price?

Despite our best efforts, a product may occasionally be mispriced. If a manifest (obvious) pricing error is identified before your order is dispatched, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full. You are never charged more than the price confirmed at checkout, and we will contact you before taking any action on a mispriced order.

Are your reviews and search results genuine?

Yes. Where customer reviews or ratings are displayed, they are from genuine, verified buyers and are not fabricated, manipulated or selectively filtered to mislead. Our search results and product rankings are not deceptively biased against any seller or product.

Will I receive a GST tax invoice?

Yes. A GST tax invoice is issued for every order. Each invoice carries a unique number in the format RF/<financial-year>/00001 and shows the applicable HSN code and GST rate (0%, 5%, 12%, 18% or 28%) for each item.

How is GST calculated on my order?

GST is charged based on the place of supply:

  • Within Andhra Pradesh — CGST + SGST are applied
  • Outside Andhra Pradesh (inter-state) — IGST is applied

The GST rate varies by product and is shown on each item and on your tax invoice. Our GSTIN is 37AOBPY0245C1Z5.

Do you store my card details?

No. We do not store your card details. All online payments are handled by Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant. Your sensitive payment information is processed securely by Razorpay and is never stored on our servers.

Can I get a GST invoice in my business / company name?

Yes. If you'd like the tax invoice raised in your business name with your GSTIN, please add those details at checkout where available or contact our support team before placing the order.


Delivery & Installation

Where do you deliver?

We deliver PAN-INDIA via insured surface freight. You can check serviceability for your location by entering your delivery PIN code at checkout.

How much does shipping cost?

  • FREE shipping on all orders of ₹10,000 or more.
  • For orders below ₹10,000, shipping is calculated based on the item's size class (Parcel / Bulky / Heavy) and your destination PIN code.

Your exact shipping charge is shown at checkout, as part of the itemised total, before you pay.

How long will delivery take?

Estimated delivery timelines are:

These are good-faith estimates, not guaranteed dates. Deliveries to remote PIN codes may take longer, and timelines may be extended by events beyond our reasonable control (see Force majeure in the Terms). The estimated timeline for your order is shown at checkout.

Can I choose a delivery slot?

Yes — a delivery slot can be selected at checkout where this option is available for your location.

Can I track my order?

Yes. All orders are trackable. You'll receive tracking details once your order is dispatched, and you can also view order status from your account.

Do you provide assembly and installation?

It depends on your location:

  • In serviceable areas where our team operates, assembly and installation are provided by Ravi Furnitures.
  • In other locations, products are delivered flat-packed / knock-down for self-assembly or assembly by a local carpenter.

Each product page clearly indicates whether assembly is required, so you'll know what to expect before you buy.

Is my shipment insured?

Yes. All deliveries are sent via insured surface freight. If your item arrives damaged in transit, please report it within the 7-day window (see Returns below) and we'll take care of it.


Returns, Refunds & Warranty

What is your return window?

You can request a return or replacement within 7 days from the date of delivery, subject to the conditions below. This window applies to newly delivered items. It is separate from, and does not shorten, your manufacturing-defect warranty (see below), which continues to protect you well beyond 7 days.

What if my item arrives with a defect or transit damage?

If your item has a manufacturing defect or transit damage:

  • Please report it within 7 days of delivery. Where possible, share photos (and, for large items, an unboxing video) — this helps us assess and resolve the issue faster.
  • We'll arrange a free reverse pickup and provide a free repair, replacement, or full refund — as applicable to your situation.

We will not deny a genuine defect or transit-damage claim solely because a photo or unboxing video is unavailable. Documentation simply helps us help you sooner; it is a request, not a precondition to your rights.

Can I return an item if I change my mind?

Yes, within the 7-day window, provided the item is:

  • Unused and in its original condition, and
  • In its original packaging.

For change-of-mind returns, you bear the return freight, and any outbound shipping charge already paid is non-refundable. (This applies only to change-of-mind returns — for defective or transit-damaged items, pickup and the refund of charges are free.)

Which items cannot be returned?

The following are non-returnable under our change-of-mind / general return policy:

  • Custom / made-to-order items
  • Clearance / "as-is" items
  • Mattresses once unsealed (for hygiene reasons)
  • Items damaged by your misuse after delivery

Important: These exclusions, and our warranty exclusions for misuse or normal wear and tear, do not apply to a genuine manufacturing-defect or transit-damage claim reported within the 7-day window. A genuine defect or transit damage is always eligible for repair, replacement or refund, and your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are not affected.

How long do refunds take?

Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–7 working days. For COD orders, refunds are made via bank transfer / UPI to the account details you provide. For your protection against misdirected refunds, the bank / UPI details you provide for a COD refund are verified against your order before the refund is released.

How do I cancel an order?

  • Standard ordersfree cancellation any time before dispatch.
  • Custom / made-to-order items — can be cancelled only before production begins (this is earlier than dispatch; once we have started making your piece, it cannot be cancelled).
  • Once a standard order has been dispatched, cancellation is treated as a return (see above).

What warranty do your products carry?

Our products carry a warranty against manufacturing defects, which varies by material:

  • Solid wood — 36 months
  • Engineered wood and metal / steel — 12–60 months (as stated on each product)
  • Upholstery / foam — typically 12 months
  • Mattresses — as stated on each product page (varies by mattress type)

The exact warranty period is stated on each product page. This warranty operates beyond the 7-day return window — if a manufacturing defect appears later, you remain covered for repair or replacement for the full warranty period.

What does the warranty not cover?

The warranty excludes (these are warranty exclusions only — they do not bar a genuine defect or transit-damage claim within the return window):

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse or improper handling
  • Water damage and termite damage to untreated wood
  • Unauthorised repair or modification
  • Commercial use (unless specifically stated)

Beyond the stated warranty, what other warranties apply?

Except for the express manufacturing-defect warranty stated above and any guarantees or warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019), no other warranties, express or implied, are given — including any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose you have not told us about. This does not reduce your non-excludable statutory rights as a consumer.

What are Protection Plans?

On eligible products, you can purchase an optional extended Protection Plan for added coverage beyond the standard warranty. Protection Plans are strictly optional and are never pre-selected for you — where available, the plan and its terms are shown on the product page so you can review, add or remove it before you pay.

Please note: Your statutory rights as a consumer under Indian law (including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019) are not affected by any of the limitations above.


Products & Custom Orders

Where are your products made / what is the country of origin?

Our furniture is made in India. Ravi Furnitures is a manufacturer with its principal manufacturing unit at Mallavelli Industrial Area, Krishna District, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh – 521212, India. The country of origin is India unless a specific product page states otherwise.

Do you make custom / made-to-order furniture?

Yes. As manufacturers and dealers of all types of furniture, we offer custom / made-to-order pieces tailored to your requirements. Get in touch with our team to discuss dimensions, materials, finishes and timelines.

Can I cancel or return a custom order?

Custom / made-to-order items have special conditions:

  • They can be cancelled only before production has begun; once production starts, they cannot be cancelled.
  • They are non-returnable for change of mind. However, if a custom item arrives with a manufacturing defect or transit damage, you are fully covered: please report it within 7 days and, where possible, share photos (and an unboxing video for large items) to help us resolve it faster. We will not refuse a genuine defect or transit-damage claim solely because a video is unavailable, and your statutory rights are unaffected.

How long does a custom order take?

Production timelines for custom pieces depend on the design, materials and finish you choose. We'll confirm an estimated timeline with you before production begins.


Account & Support

How do I create an account?

You can sign up easily using any of the following:

  • Email
  • Mobile number with OTP verification
  • Google sign-in

An account lets you track orders, manage addresses, view your order history and access your invoices.

Can I sign in with Google?

Yes. Google sign-in is supported for quick and secure access to your account.

Do I need an account to shop?

Creating an account makes managing your orders, addresses and invoices much easier, and is recommended. You can sign up in a few moments using email, mobile OTP or Google.

Who can use the store — is there an age requirement?

Our store is intended for users aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, you may use the store only with the involvement and verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly process the personal data of a child (under 18) without verifiable parental consent, and we do not carry out behavioural tracking, profiling or targeted advertising directed at children, in line with Section 9 of the DPDP Act, 2023.

Can I buy or use a gift card?

Yes. We offer digital gift cards that you can purchase and share. Key gift-card terms:

  • Optional add-on — buying a gift card is entirely your choice and is never added automatically.
  • Single-use credit — a gift card is applied towards eligible purchases at checkout and is non-reloadable.
  • Validity — the validity period and any usage conditions are shown at the time of purchase / on the gift-card page.
  • Not generally refundable for cash, except where a refund is required by law.

Are add-ons like Protection Plans, EMI and gift cards optional?

Yes — always. Protection Plans, EMI / No-Cost EMI, gift cards and any other add-on are strictly opt-in and are never pre-ticked or sneaked into your cart. You can review and remove any add-on before you pay, and the itemised cart total shows exactly what you are being charged for.


Your privacy

How is my personal data handled?

We take your privacy seriously and process your data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the SPDI Rules, 2011.

What we collect: your identity and contact information, delivery addresses, order and transaction history, account credentials, and device / usage data.

Why we use it: order fulfilment, payments, customer support, fraud prevention, marketing (only with your consent), and legal / tax compliance. We use your data only for these stated, lawful purposes.

  • We never sell your personal data.
  • Our systems are hosted on Microsoft Azure (India region).

Who do you share my data with?

We share your personal data only with the categories of recipients needed to provide our service, and as required by law — not for sale. These include:

  • Razorpay — our payment gateway / processor (to process your payment securely).
  • Logistics / courier partners — to deliver and, where applicable, install your order.
  • Google — where you choose Google sign-in, to authenticate your account.
  • Microsoft Azure (India) — our cloud hosting provider (data processor).

These partners process your data on our behalf or as independent controllers for their own stated purposes, and are required to handle it lawfully and securely.

Do you use cookies?

Yes. We use essential cookies (needed for sign-in, cart and checkout to work) and, where you allow it, analytics cookies that help us understand and improve the site. You can control or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings or any on-site cookie controls we provide. We do not use tracking or targeted advertising directed at children. What are my rights over my data (DPDP Act, 2023)?

As a Data Principal, you have the right to:

  • Access — get a summary of the personal data we process about you and how we process it.
  • Correction & completion — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or completed.
  • Erasure — have your personal data erased when it is no longer needed for the stated purpose or as required by law.
  • Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with us (and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India) about how your data is handled.
  • Nomination — nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.

How do I withdraw my consent?

Where we rely on your consent (for example, for marketing), you can withdraw it at any time — it is as easy to withdraw as it was to give. You can:

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal, and we may still need to retain certain data to meet legal, tax or contractual obligations.

How long do you keep my data, and how is it protected?

  • Retention — we keep your personal data only as long as needed for the purposes stated above, or as required by applicable law (for example, tax / invoicing records). After that, it is erased or anonymised.
  • Security — we maintain reasonable technical and organisational security safeguards to protect your data, consistent with Section 8(5) of the DPDP Act and the SPDI Rules, 2011.
  • Breach notification — in the event of a personal-data breach, we will notify affected data principals and the Data Protection Board of India as required by the DPDP Act.
  • Cross-border transfers — your data is primarily processed in India. Any transfer outside India is made only to countries not restricted by the Government of India and in accordance with the DPDP Act, 2023.

In line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the DPDP Act, 2023, we have a designated, prominently displayed Grievance Officer (also shown in our website footer). If your concern hasn't been resolved by our support team, you may contact:

When you raise a grievance, we provide a unique complaint reference (ticket) number for every complaint. We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours of receipt and resolve it within one month from the date of receipt, as required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.


Terms of Sale & Use

These Terms govern your use of https://www.ravifurnitures.in and your purchases from Ravi Furnitures. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms removes or limits your non-excludable statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the DPDP Act, 2023, or other applicable law.

1. Who we are. Ravi Furnitures is a sole proprietorship (proprietor: Mr. Jagadish Yalavarthi), with its principal place of business and manufacturing unit at Mallavelli Industrial Area, Krishna District, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh – 521212, India, and a branch at Nunna Mango Market, Vijayawada. 2. Orders, pricing and payment. Prices are in INR and GST-inclusive; the itemised total (item price, delivery and any optional add-ons) is shown before you pay, with no hidden charges. We may cancel and fully refund an order affected by a manifest pricing error identified before dispatch (see What if a product is shown at the wrong price? above). Add-ons are always optional and never pre-selected.

3. Delivery. Delivery timelines are good-faith estimates and not guaranteed dates; they may be extended by events beyond our reasonable control (clause 11).

4. Returns, refunds, warranty. Governed by the Returns, Refunds & Warranty section above, which forms part of these Terms. Your statutory consumer rights are preserved.

5. Intellectual property. All content on the site — including text, product images, designs, graphics, layout, and the "Ravi Furnitures" name, logo and marks — is owned by the proprietor (or used under licence) and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or use any of it for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. You may use the site only for lawful personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. Acceptable use and your indemnity. You agree not to use the site or your account for any unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purpose, to interfere with its operation, or to infringe others' rights. You agree to indemnify Ravi Furnitures against losses, claims and reasonable costs arising directly from your unlawful or fraudulent use of the site or account, or your breach of these Terms. This indemnity is limited to your own wrongful conduct and does not require you to cover losses caused by our own fault.

7. Account termination / suspension. We may suspend or terminate an account that we reasonably believe is being used for fraud, impersonation, abuse, or material breach of these Terms. We will act proportionately and, where lawful and practical, give notice. Suspension or termination does not affect your statutory rights or any refund you are due for goods already paid for.

8. Disclaimer of warranties. Except for the express warranties stated in this page and any guarantees that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019), no other warranties, express or implied, are given.

9. Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss (such as loss of profit, opportunity or data). However, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (a) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (b) gross negligence or wilful misconduct; (c) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; or (d) any liability or right that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Those rights and liabilities are fully preserved.

10. Third-party links and services. The site relies on, or may link to, third-party services (such as Razorpay, Google sign-in, Microsoft Azure and courier partners) and external sites. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third-party sites or providers; their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.

11. Force majeure. We are not liable for any delay or failure in delivery or performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, fire, flood, epidemics, strikes, transport or logistics disruptions, power or network failures, or government action. We will take reasonable steps to limit the impact and to keep you informed; this clause does not remove your statutory rights or your right to a refund where goods are not delivered.

12. Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes take effect prospectively, with reasonable prior notice (for example, on this page or by email). Changes do not apply retrospectively to orders already placed, and they cannot reduce your statutory rights.

13. Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force, and the offending provision is read down to the minimum extent needed to make it valid.

14. No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.

15. Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the policies referenced on this page (including the Privacy Policy and any product-page terms), form the entire agreement between you and Ravi Furnitures regarding your purchase, and supersede prior representations on the same subject — except for your non-excludable statutory rights, which always apply.

16. Assignment. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations (for example, on a business transfer), on notice and provided your rights are not reduced. You may not assign your obligations without our consent.

17. Notices. Notices to us should be sent to support@ravifurnitures.in (general) or grievance@ravifurnitures.in (grievances / data protection). We will send notices to the email or phone number associated with your account or order.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your statutory rights, the courts at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh shall have jurisdiction over disputes. Nothing in this clause limits your right, as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, to approach the consumer forum / commission where you reside or work — that right is fully preserved, and we do not require you to arbitrate or otherwise give up access to the consumer forums.
