Ravi Furnitures is a Vijayawada-based furniture house built on a simple idea: that well-made, honestly-priced furniture should be within reach of every Indian home, office and institution. As both a manufacturer and a dealer of all types of furniture, we make much of what we sell in our own workshop and carefully curate the rest.

Our Story
Ravi Furnitures began on the workshop floor — with carpenters, raw timber, and a commitment to building furniture that lasts. Over the years we grew from a local maker into a trusted name that designs, manufactures and supplies furniture for homes, offices and institutions across the region.
Today, we run an in-house manufacturing unit at the Mallavelli Industrial Area near Vijayawada, where our craftspeople build and finish furniture under one roof. Our branch at Nunna Mango Market in Vijayawada brings our showroom and service closer to customers in the city. And with our online store at www.ravifurnitures.in, the same workshop quality now reaches doorsteps across India.
Being a manufacturer first means we control quality at the source — the timber we select, the joinery we use, the finishes we apply, and the price you finally pay.

Not finding the exact size, finish or design you need? We build custom, made-to-order furniture to your specifications. Share your requirements with our team and we will craft furniture that fits your space and your style. Please note that custom and made-to-order items are non-returnable and cannot be cancelled once production has begun (see the Returns & Refund Policy). This does not affect your statutory rights if a custom item is delivered with a genuine manufacturing defect.

Transparent, GST-inclusive pricing — full price breakup before you pay
Every price on our store is in Indian Rupees (₹) and already includes GST. We display the MRP alongside the selling price, and we issue a proper GST tax invoice for every order. Before you pay, checkout shows a complete, itemised price breakup — item price (inclusive of GST), applicable shipping (by size-class and PIN code), any opt-in add-ons (such as a Protection Plan), and the final payable total. No charges are added after the displayed total. See the Pricing & Pricing-Error clause.
Country of origin
We disclose the country of origin on each product page, as required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 — India for our own-manufactured goods, and the actual country of origin for curated/dealer goods we resell.
Genuine reviews and rankings
Any customer reviews and ratings shown on our store are genuine. We do not manipulate, fabricate or selectively suppress reviews or ratings, and we do not manipulate product search rankings, in line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

Pay your way:
- Online via Razorpay — UPI, debit/credit cards, net-banking and wallets. Online payments are processed securely by Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant); we never store your card details.
- EMI / No-Cost EMI on eligible cards.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) on orders up to ₹20,000.
Pan-India delivery, insured in transit
We deliver across India via surface freight, with FREE shipping on orders of ₹10,000 and above. Below that, shipping is calculated by item size class (Parcel / Bulky / Heavy) and your destination PIN code. Indicative timelines: Parcel 2–5 working days; Bulky & Heavy 4–9 working days (remote PIN codes and events beyond our control may take longer — see Force Majeure). Shipments are covered by transit insurance against loss of, or damage to, goods while in transit (claimed via the 7-day damage-report process); "insured" refers to transit cover only and not to every type of loss. Where available, you can choose a delivery slot at checkout, and every order is trackable.
Assembly & installation where we operate
In serviceable areas where our team operates, we provide assembly and installation. Elsewhere, products are delivered flat-packed / knock-down for easy self or local-carpenter assembly. Each product page tells you clearly whether assembly is required.
Easy returns & dependable service
We stand behind what we sell with a 7-day return window from delivery. In summary:
- Manufacturing defects or transit damage: report within 7 days and we arrange a free reverse pickup and a repair, replacement or full refund. To help us assess your claim faster we request photos or an unboxing video, but these are not a precondition — a genuine defect, short-shipment or transit-damage claim will be honoured even without a video.
- Change of mind: within 7 days, if the item is unused and in original condition (with packaging); the customer bears the return freight.
- Non-returnable items: custom / made-to-order, clearance / "as-is", mattresses once unsealed/used, and items damaged by misuse.
This is only a summary — please read the full Returns & Refund Policy. Nothing in our returns process limits your statutory rights against defective goods.

Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of www.ravifurnitures.in and your purchases from Ravi Furnitures (the sole proprietorship of Mr. Jagadish Yalavarthi). Please read them with our Returns & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Warranty Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of these Terms.
1. Who you are contracting with
Your contract of sale is with Ravi Furnitures, the sole proprietorship of Mr. Jagadish Yalavarthi, principal place of business at Mallavelli Industrial Area, Krishna District, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh – 521212, India; GSTIN 37AOBPY0245C1Z5.
2. Eligibility and accounts
2.1 You must be 18 years or older and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law to make a purchase or open an account.
2.2 Accounts may be created via email/mobile-OTP or Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and OTP secure and for activity under your account. Please give accurate, current information.
3. Orders, acceptance and cancellation
3.1 A product listing is an invitation to offer. Your order is an offer; a contract forms when we confirm acceptance and/or dispatch the goods.
3.2 You may cancel free of charge before dispatch. Custom / made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
3.3 We may decline or cancel an order (with a full refund of amounts paid) for reasons including stock unavailability, suspected fraud or abuse, an error in price or description (see clause 7), or where we cannot lawfully fulfil it.
4. Limitation of liability
4.1 Subject to clause 4.3, and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with an order or these Terms — whether in contract, tort (including negligence), under statute or otherwise — shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.
4.2 Subject to clause 4.3, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, business, revenue, goodwill, data or anticipated savings, however arising.
4.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (a) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (b) gross negligence or wilful misconduct; (c) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; or (d) any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including your non-excludable statutory rights and remedies under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and other applicable law. The cap in clause 4.1 does not apply to, and nothing in this clause 4 derogates from, those rights and remedies.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
5.1 Our express manufacturing warranty (see the Warranty Policy) — solid wood 36 months; engineered wood & metal 12–60 months per product; upholstery and foam ~12 months — covers manufacturing defects only and is the sole warranty we give on our products.
5.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, and except for (a) the express manufacturing warranty above and (b) the statutory guarantees and consumer rights referred to in clause 5.4, we disclaim all other warranties, conditions and representations, whether express, implied or statutory, in respect of products and the store.
5.3 Clearance / "as-is" goods are sold without warranty and are non-returnable, save for your non-excludable statutory rights.
5.4 Nothing in this clause limits the implied conditions and warranties, statutory guarantees, or any other non-excludable rights and remedies available to you under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Sale of Goods Act, 1930, and other applicable law.
6. Indemnity
6.1 You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs to the extent arising from: (a) designs, specifications, artwork or intellectual property you supply for a custom / made-to-order item (including any claim that they infringe a third party's rights); (b) your misuse of a product; or (c) your breach of these Terms or of law.
6.2 We will indemnify you against third-party claims to the extent arising from our own intellectual property in goods we manufacture, or from a manufacturing defect in goods we make, subject to the limitation of liability in clause 4.
6.3 Neither party's indemnity limits a consumer's non-excludable statutory rights.
7. Pricing, taxes, invoicing and pricing-error correction
7.1 Prices are in ₹ and inclusive of GST; MRP is shown. We issue a GST tax invoice for every order (format RF/<FY>/00001). Place of supply: intra-Andhra-Pradesh = CGST + SGST; inter-state = IGST; HSN code is shown per product.
7.2 Checkout displays a complete, itemised price breakup (item price inclusive of GST, shipping by size-class/PIN, any opt-in add-ons, and the final payable total) before payment. No charges are added after the displayed total.
7.3 Pricing errors. Despite our care, a product may occasionally be listed at an obvious or manifest error of price or description (a typographical or system error). Where such an error is identified, we may cancel the affected order and issue a full refund before dispatch, after giving you prompt notice and the option to re-order at the correct price. This does not entitle us to depart from genuine, correctly displayed prices.
8. Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay (UPI, cards, net-banking, wallets), with EMI / No-Cost EMI on eligible cards and COD up to ₹20,000. Card details are not stored by us; they are handled by Razorpay under PCI-DSS. Payment, EMI and Razorpay services are also subject to the provider's own terms (see clause 16).
9. Shipping, delivery and risk
Shipping, timelines, insurance, assembly and tracking are set out in the Shipping Policy. Indicative timelines are estimates and are subject to Force Majeure; where goods are not delivered, you may cancel and obtain a refund for the undelivered goods.
10. Returns, refunds and warranty
Your return, refund and warranty rights are set out in the Returns & Refund Policy and the Warranty Policy. These operate in addition to, and do not displace, your statutory rights.
11. Account suspension and termination
11.1 We may suspend or terminate an account or decline service where we reasonably suspect fraud, COD abuse, chargeback abuse, or breach of these Terms or law, following a fair process and, where practicable, notice and an opportunity to respond.
11.2 On suspension or termination, legitimate amounts owed to you (e.g., for paid-but-undelivered goods or valid refunds) will be paid. Suspension or termination does not affect rights or liabilities accrued before it, or your statutory rights.
12. Changes to these Terms and policies
We may update these Terms and policies prospectively, with notice (including by posting the updated version with a revised "Last updated" date, and, for material changes, reasonable notice through the store or to your registered contact). Changes do not apply to orders already placed — each order is governed by the version in force when you placed it. We retain prior versions to evidence the terms applicable to your order.
13. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay in or failure of performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic or pandemic, war, civil unrest, strikes or labour disputes, transport or carrier disruption or failure, fuel or material shortages, utility or internet failures, and acts or orders of government or regulators. We will take reasonable steps to mitigate; if a force-majeure event prevents delivery, you may cancel the affected order and obtain a refund for the undelivered goods.
14. Dispute resolution and governing law
14.1 Governing law. These Terms and any dispute or claim are governed by the laws of India.
14.2 Step 1 — Grievance Officer. Please first raise any dispute with our Grievance Officer (see Contact us), who will acknowledge within 48 hours and seek to resolve it within one month (30 days) of receipt.
14.3 Step 2 — Optional arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved, the parties may, only if both agree in writing, refer it to arbitration by a sole arbitrator seated in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, conducted in English. Arbitration is entirely optional and is never mandatory for a consumer; declining arbitration does not affect any of your rights.
14.4 Courts and the consumer-forum carve-out. Subject to clause 14.5, the courts at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh have jurisdiction. However, this clause does not, and cannot, take away your right as a consumer to file a complaint before the District, State or National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission having jurisdiction where you reside or personally work for gain, under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 — notwithstanding the Vijayawada-courts clause, the arbitration option, or anything else in these Terms.
14.5 Nothing in this clause 14 limits or ousts any non-excludable statutory right or forum available to you as a consumer.
15. Intellectual property
15.1 All content on the store — including the Ravi Furnitures name and marks, product images, descriptions, designs and site content — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our written permission.
15.2 Custom / made-to-order work. Intellectual property in designs and specifications you supply remains yours (and you warrant you have the right to use them — see clause 6.1). Intellectual property in our designs, drawings and manufacturing know-how remains ours.
16. Third-party links and services
The store integrates or links to third-party services — including Razorpay (payments), Google (sign-in), and courier/logistics portals. These are governed by the third party's own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites or services, save for our own acts and omissions.
17. Notices
17.1 Notices to us (including legal and grievance notices) may be sent to grievance@ravifurnitures.in or by post to Ravi Furnitures, Mallavelli Industrial Area, Krishna District, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh – 521212, India.
17.2 Notices to you may be sent to your registered email or mobile number, or posted on the store. Notices are deemed received on the day of email/SMS transmission or, by post, on ordinary delivery.
18. General
18.1 Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it is severed and the remaining provisions continue in full force.
18.2 Entire agreement. These Terms and the linked policies are the entire agreement for your purchase and supersede prior marketing statements, representations or oral assurances — except that this clause does not exclude or limit your non-excludable statutory consumer rights, or liability for fraud.
18.3 No waiver. Our failure or delay in enforcing a right, or any indulgence we extend (for example, accepting a late return on one occasion), is not a waiver and does not create a binding practice.
18.4 Assignment. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations (for example, on a transfer of the business) provided your rights under these Terms and your statutory rights are preserved. You may not assign your obligations without our consent.
Returns & Refund Policy

Return window. 7 days from delivery.

Defects / transit damage. Report within 7 days. We arrange a free reverse pickup and provide a repair, replacement or full refund. Photos or an unboxing video are requested to speed assessment but are not a precondition — a genuine manufacturing-defect, short-shipment or transit-damage claim will be honoured even without a video or photos. Nothing here limits your statutory rights against defective goods under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Change of mind. Within 7 days, if the item is unused and in original condition with original packaging. The customer bears the return freight for change-of-mind returns.

Warranty Policy

Scope — manufacturing defects only. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental or transit damage (covered separately under Returns), improper use/storage, or any unauthorised repair or modification.

Statutory rights preserved. This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, your non-excludable statutory guarantees and consumer rights.

Protection Plans (add-on). Optional extended Protection Plans are available on eligible items. They are opt-in only and never pre-ticked or auto-added to your basket. Each Protection Plan's scope, exclusions, validity period and refund/transfer rules are shown before purchase; a Protection Plan is an add-on to, and does not reduce, your statutory rights or the manufacturing warranty.

Gift cards (add-on). Gift cards' value, validity, and refund/transfer rules are shown at purchase and are subject to applicable law.
Legal Metrology & Product Disclosures
For applicable packaged commodities, each product page carries the declarations required under the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011, including: MRP inclusive of all taxes, net quantity / dimensions, the manufacturer / packer / importer identity and address, the country of origin, and consumer-care details. Country of origin is India for our own-manufactured goods and the actual origin for curated/dealer goods, consistent with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
Privacy Policy
Ravi Furnitures (the sole proprietorship of Mr. Jagadish Yalavarthi) is the Data Fiduciary for personal data processed through www.ravifurnitures.in. We process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the SPDI Rules, 2011.

We collect personal data for order fulfilment, payments, delivery, customer support, security and fraud-prevention, and legal/tax compliance, and for no incompatible purpose.
2. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site function, security, preferences and basic analytics. You can manage non-essential cookies through your browser controls and any on-site cookie controls; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.
3. Sharing — processors and recipients
We share personal data only as needed with:
- Razorpay — payment processing (PCI-DSS; card data handled by Razorpay, not stored by us).
- Logistics / courier partners — delivery and tracking.
- Microsoft Azure (India region) — hosting / cloud sub-processor.
- Google — Google sign-in, if you choose it.
- Government authorities — where required by law.
We never sell your data.
4. Cross-border transfers
Our store and primary data are hosted on Microsoft Azure in India. Certain integrated services (such as Google sign-in and analytics) may process limited data outside India. Where that occurs, we do so consistent with the DPDP Act and applicable transfer requirements, with appropriate safeguards.
5. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required for legal, tax and accounting record-keeping (for example, GST invoices). When data is no longer needed and no legal obligation requires retention, we delete or anonymise it (DPDP s.8(7)).
6. Your rights as a Data Principal (DPDP ss.11–14)
You have the right to: access a summary of your personal data and processing; correction, completion and updating of your data; erasure of data no longer needed; grievance redressal; and nomination of another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
Withdrawing consent. You may withdraw consent at any time — as easily as you gave it — by emailing grievance@ravifurnitures.in or using available account settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out, and we will stop the relevant processing within a reasonable time. Some data may be retained where the law requires it.
How to exercise rights. Contact the data-protection contact below. We will acknowledge within 48 hours and respond within one month (30 days) of receipt.
7. Children's data (DPDP s.9)
Our store is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly create accounts for or process the personal data of children under 18 without verifiable parental consent. We do not undertake tracking or behavioural monitoring of children or direct targeted advertising at children. If you believe a child's data has been collected, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational security measures consistent with the SPDI Rules, 2011 and DPDP Act, including hosting on Microsoft Azure (India) and not storing card data (handled by Razorpay under PCI-DSS).
9. Personal-data breaches
In the event of a personal-data breach, we will take prompt remedial action and notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected Data Principals as required by the DPDP Act, 2023.
